Care Instructions
To clean your Patrol Winter, remove all loose dirt with a soft shoe brush. If necessary, use a clean, soft shoe brush to apply lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth. After cleaning, or whenever your shoes get wet, ensure they dry in a well-ventilated area at room temperature. Avoid drying near or on a heater, as this may cause the faux leather to become brittle. For long-term storage, keep your boots in a well-ventilated, sun-protected place.
To maintain, protect, and refresh the color of the faux leather, use a faux leather care. Finish your care routine by lightly spraying the inside of your boots with an odor-neutralizing spray.
The Patrol Winter boots are not machine washable.

I think my words were, "Finally, a pair of vegan barefoot(ish) boots that I like." They tick all the boxes in comparison to mainstream footwear: They're comfortable, warm, and stylish. They're a little expensive, but I guess that's the cost you have to pay for a niche market. I would definitely buy them again.

Overall I like these boots. They are warm and feel great to wear. But I hate putting them on to the point I find myself frequently grabbing other shoes when I am in a hurry but would prefer to wear these.
I initially bought the old style but they were too big (I usually wear 8.5 so guessed on the 9 and was wrong). When I returned them I decided to wait to buy these newer styles because of the difficulty in getting on the older stye even though they were too big. I thought the loop would be enough! Sadly I was wrong as while it is an improvement, I'm still tugging away.
I also knew I would trade out the tie laces for the bungee no tie option and that would help. And it does. With the laces I was constantly having to completely loosen every single "cross" which made me curse with both the time and just the difficulty. My bungee no ties make it way easier to keep the boot looser on my feet without it being too loose once on. But clearly it's not enough help.
Honestly I regret buying the boot even though I like it.

Are you using our elastic lacing system? If not, we’d recommend trying our Elastic Lacing System 'Click & Go', which should make it much easier to slip the boots on. You can find them here: feelgrounds.com/accessories
Another tip would be to skip one or two of the top eyelets, which should also improve the fit and make it easier to get your foot in.
