Pathway: Improved version coming in May 2024

Pathway is the ultimate barefoot sandal for urban adventurers. With its anatomical fit, padded straps, and flexible zero-drop sole, this lightweight sandal offers sporty aesthetics and maximum comfort. Pathway features two adjustable straps with hook and loop fasteners: one at the heel and a second one that runs over the upper part of the foot. Based on your feedback, we have extended the instep strap for our revised version of Pathway. Now, Pathway can be adjusted even more individually to accommodate customers with medium- to high-volume feet better.

What are the new features of the improved Pathway version?

• Extended instep strap
  For a significant number of customers, the strap running over the instep was not long enough. Therefore, we have extended this strap for the revised version to provide a more comfortable fit for customers with medium- to high-volume feet. Customers with generally low volume can still use the new Pathway version. Customers with very low instep volume can also have the strap shortened if needed.
• Hook and loop fasteners
  Additionally, we have swapped the rough and soft sides of the hook and loop closure on the instep strap. Like this, only the soft part of the Velcro can come into contact with the skin, even when the straps are extended to their maximum length. To protect the material of the straps, we always recommend fully closing the hook and loop fasteners when not worn. This prevents the rough side from coming into contact with the straps, when the sandals are stored in a shoe rack stacked on top of each other.
• New sole shape
  The sole shape has been slightly optimized. We removed excess sole material from the little toe area and widened the midfoot area to improve strap placement.
• New construction without triangle buckle
  The whole structure has been upgraded. We have substituted the triangle buckle with padded, crossed straps, thereby enhancing the stability the sandal provides for the ankles and eliminating  a potential cause for irritation to the delicate ankle area.
