Does not come with an insole and when you put one in the amount of vertical room in the shoe becomes insufficent. The toe box shape is great and I like the shoe but because the sole of the shoe is nonexistant you cannot wear the shoes if you live in a city. After 10 minutes or so walking on concrete your feet will hurt. It would be nice if they made these with thicker rubber soles so they would be wearable for people in cities.

This feedback is essential for natural movement, balance, and posture — many of our customers even describe it as a gentle “foot massage” effect. Because preferences vary, we’ve made it possible to use optional insoles for those who prefer a slightly softer or more cushioned feel.

If you’re new to barefoot footwear, we recommend taking it slow and allowing your body some time to adapt. Start by wearing your Feelgrounds for shorter periods and gradually increase your wear time — this helps your muscles and joints adjust naturally to the increased foot activation.

Care instructions

How do I clean my mesh models?

To clean your Mesh model, first remove all loose dirt with a dry, soft shoe brush. If necessary, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth. Ensure the shoes dry at room temperature in a well-ventilated area after cleaning or if they get wet. Finish by lightly spraying the insides of your shoes with an odor-neutralizing spray.

Stubborn stains can be best removed by machine washing. Please use a delicate cold cycle, mild detergent, and a laundry bag. Let the shoes air dry after washing. Keep in mind that frequent machine washing may lead to wear and tear on the colors and materials, so wash your Mesh model only as needed.
