Odd Fit

This is the fifth pair of FeelGrounds I've purchased. I love all of them. I own the courtside canvas, docks, chukka, and the patrol lites.

The moves fit a little worse, in a way that is different from all of the other shoes I've purchased from FeelGrounds. All of my shoes are EU 41 in size, yet the Moves feel a touch more constricting than the courtside canvas or docks of the same EU 41 size. It really is a shame because the whole reason I buy from FeelGrounds is because the shoes are wide, and accommodate a natural foot shape. Yet, the moves have slightly reverted to a more conventional, narrow fit.

It's odd. The soles have the same shape and size of pretty much any other FeelGrounds shoe, but when I put it on it just feels a bit tighter than the other pairs I own. Overall, I still definitely like the shoes, but there is room for improvement.

You’re absolutely right that the Move can feel a bit different compared to styles like the Courtside Canvas or Docks. While the sole shape and measurements are exactly the same as our other sneaker models, the upper material of the Move is much thinner and stretchier. Because of that, the shoe can feel more “close” to the foot and slightly more constricting at first, even though the actual sole width hasn’t changed.

We really appreciate you sharing this feedback—it’s exactly the kind of input we use to keep improving our designs while staying true to a natural, foot-shaped fit. Thanks again for taking the time to write such a balanced review!

Bad for long distance running

Like the other reviewer, I find these shoes to be pretty difficult to wear for exercising. The mesh top is super stretchy and could benefit from a reinforced toe area. Not stable at all especially if you're trying to run miles. It felt like I was running in flippers.

I don't really like wearing them casually either for the same reasons. I find myself tripping a little more compared to other shoes. I wish I could return these for something else since they were very expensive.

Maybe they work better on super high volume feet? If you can stretch out the mesh until there's no give, then it would be more stable. Alas I have medium to low volume feet. These are a hard pass for me.

Just to clarify, our Move shoes are designed as workout shoes, not specifically for long-distance running. They’re made to give you perfect balance and a strong ground feel during gym workouts, weightlifting, or similar activities.

You’re right that they run a bit long, which can feel like tripping — some of our customers find that choosing a slightly smaller size helps with that.

I love the style and the color and the quality looks great. 5* for looks and comfort, but not suitable for sports, since the mesh fabric does not give any stability at all. They are advertised as sports gear though, thus the 3* rating, sorry...

Care instructions

How do I clean my move?

To clean your Move, first remove loose dirt with a dry, soft shoe brush. If necessary, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution with a clean brush. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth and let the shoes air dry at room temperature. For deeper stains, machine washing is recommended. Remove the insoles before washing. Use a gentle cycle (cold wash, low spin) with mild detergent and a laundry bag. After washing, absorb any excess moisture with a cloth and air dry the shoes. Frequent machine washing may cause wear on colors and materials, so only wash your Moves as often as necessary.

To prevent odors, we recommend removing and airing out the insoles after each wear. For additional freshness, you can use an odor-neutralizing spray on the insoles and inside your shoes.
