Care Instructions
To clean your Patrol Lite, remove all loose dirt with a soft shoe brush. If necessary, use a clean, soft shoe brush to apply lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth. After cleaning, or whenever your shoes get wet, ensure they dry in a well-ventilated area at room temperature. Avoid drying near or on a heater, as this may cause the faux leather to become brittle. For long-term storage, keep your boots in a well-ventilated, sun-protected place.
To maintain, protect, and refresh the color of the faux leather, use a faux leather care. Alternatively, you can also use a waterproofing spray. To complete the care routine, lightly spritz the inside of your shoes with an odor-neutralizing spray.
The Patrol Lite boots are not machine washable.

I really like the way these boots look and feel while wearing, but I'm with the other reviewer who said that they're just not warm enough. Despite having a thicker sole than the Vivobarefoot Scotts that I'm used to, the cold from the ground penetrates through the Patrol's on my long walks like I've never experienced before, even with wool socks. It's clear I won't be able to wear them below 28F or so.

The Patrol Lite is designed more for transitional weather and is not intended for extreme winter conditions. The luxurious microsuede lining and the exchangeable natural cork insole provide maximum comfort, but they don’t offer the same level of warmth as our Patrol Winter model.
The Patrol Winter features a soft, warm inner lining made of vegan fur and is designed to keep your feet comfortable even in colder temperatures. Additionally, the Patrol Winter is waterproof, snowproof, and winterproof — excellent for those cold, snowy days. It also comes with a felt insole instead of the cork one, which provides extra warmth.
If you’d like, you can also exchange the cork insole in your Patrol Lite for the felt insole for added warmth during cooler weather. You can find them here: feelgrounds.com/accessories

Difficult to wear because there is no zippers on the sides. Not suitable for taking kids to daycare because the shoes have to be taken off many times.

They are indeed very comfortable.however, for someone like me, who is super practical and doesn’t want to waste time putting on shoes, I find myself having to loosen the laces to much so I can put them on or take them off. Other than that, I have nothing else to point out for now.
